The exhibit on hand doesn't compare to other major museums, but what they have is done so well. And the events at the museum are beyond what I expected. I'm so glad I just stopped by and had an amazing experience. Well worth the effort.

We have enjoyed the Frist Art Museum several times and this visit was just as great. We loved the Eric Carle exhibit very much, along with the Native Indian Women art exhibit. The museum itself used to be the Nashville post office. We have enjoyed each exhibit we have encountered there. There is a pay-lot for parking. If you are traveling to Nashville be sure to make time for this museum.

Have been visiting the Frist since I was a kid. I learned the many forms of art as well as how to appreciate art for all that it is and comes from. I have started taking my oldest child to see exhibits and she thoroughly enjoyed it. She loves the hands on area also. Always a great day spent at the Frist alone or with kids.
